The Feather River Watershed is the northern-most watershed of this project. This watershed is the largest of all study watersheds, and has the most hydropower facilities including Lake Oroville which is the second largest reservoir in California and is dammed by the tallest dam in the United States at 770 feet. The Feather Watershed is relatively low, with a maximum elevation of 2,853m.
