Bear River

BAR The Bear River Watershed is located in the northern Sierra Nevada. The Bear is the smallest of the 15 watersheds in the study, but has considerable hydropower generating capacity. Water form the neighboring Yuba Watershed is transferred into the Bear Watershed through the Drum-Spaulding (FERC 2310) system which has the capacity to produce 190 MW.
